Job summary
Texas Oncology in Tyler is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Gynecology Oncology clinic. This full-time role supports direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in collaboration with practice physicians.
The ideal candidate has NP or PA credentials with oncology experience. MSN or CNS pathways are acceptable, with current BLS/CPR and state licensure. Opportunities include CME budget and career advancement.
Qualifications
- MSN from an accredited nursing school with NP program completion.
- RN licensure and current State Board registration.
- Nurse Practitioner licensure in practicing state.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- NCCPA certification for PAs.
- Clinical Nurse Specialist program completion and CNS licensure.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Initiate and document interventions; prescribe therapies as indicated.
- Perform procedures after training.
- Educate patients and families; promote wellness and community resources.
- Incorporate evidence-based research into clinical practice.
- Complete charge capture and medical records timely.
