Job summary

Duke Raleigh Campus, a part of Duke University Health System, seeks a Registered Nurse for the GYN Oncology unit. This PRN role supports compassionate, high-quality care in a busy oncology setting on site in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Preferred candidates have oncology experience, a BSN or higher, and will enroll in or maintain North Carolina nursing licensure. BLS is required, with relocation assistance based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Twelve months of clinical nursing experience required.
• NC nursing license within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Act as team leader or charge nurse for a group of patients or unit.
• Monitor and maintain the environment of care and equipment.
• Participate in professional development and support staff learning.
• Identify clinical or operational improvement opportunities.
