Job summary

Duke Health’s Hematology/Oncology Clinic at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Breast Surgical Oncology and Reconstruction team. Oncology experience is preferred, with duties spanning planning, coordination, and patient care within a cancer care setting.

The role requires a BSN or higher and active nursing licensure in North Carolina, with opportunities for relocation assistance for eligible candidates. Fulltime scheduling 5–8 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Twelve months of relevant clinical experience required.
• Oncology experience preferred (Breast Surgical Oncology/Recovery).
• BSN or higher degree; license to practice nursing in NC.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide and document professional nursing care per orders and policies.
• Use nursing judgment to individualize care plans based on assessments.
• Delegate tasks and supervise licensed/unlicensed staff as assigned.
• Act as team leader or charge nurse for a unit when needed.
• Maintain environment of care, equipment, and material resources.
• Engage in professional development and learning opportunities.
