Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in Oregon.
• DEA registration required.
• Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology or eligible within 5 years of appointment.
• Three years of experience preferred with 30 gynecologic procedures in past 24 months.
• Performance of at least 50 deliveries in past 24 months.
• Robotics training required.
• Lean methodology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical monitoring and proctoring for designated GYN Oncology physicians and surgeons.
• Observe and assess surgical performance and provide proctoring when appropriate.
• Provide surgical assistance for GYN Oncology procedures when requested, post-monitoring.
• Offer similar monitoring and proctoring for OB/GYN physicians as needed.
• Provide timely, objective feedback and required documentation related to monitoring activities.
• Collaborate with medical staff leadership to support physician competency and patient safety.
• Participate in relevant quality and peer review activities.
• Maintain privileges and requirements for the Clinical Advisor/Associate staff category.
• Contribute to a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement.
