Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience in lieu of degree not accepted.
• BLS certification preferred; CMA data conversion credentials preferred.
• Direct MA or medical field experience 0–1 year preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs.
• Show patients to exam rooms and prepare equipment for providers.
• Record medical history and vital statistics in records.
• Answer calls, complete forms, and liaise with departments with care.
• Collect blood and specimens; log and prepare for testing.
• Prepare and stock treatment rooms; keep areas clean.
• Sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
