Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant to support clinical and non-clinical patient services onsite at 32 Fruit Street. You will take vital signs, record patient information, schedule appointments, and assist with patient flow under healthcare providers.

The role emphasizes direct patient interaction, preparation of examination rooms, and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient care. Strong communication and accurate documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Data Conversion - preferred.
• Direct MA experience or medical field work 0–1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs, weight and height.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment for providers.
• Record patients' medical history and vital statistics in medical records.
• Perform general office duties and act as a liaison with other departments.
• Collect blood, tissue, or other specimens and log them for testing.
