Job summary

North Shore YMCA in Marblehead, MA seeks a Gymnastics Director to lead and grow the Marblehead gymnastics program. You will coach youth, develop coaches, and align classes, open gym, camps, and events to deliver high-quality experiences for hundreds of youth each year.

You will recruit and mentor staff, ensure safety and program progression, and foster strong family engagement while supporting summer camps and special events. Expect a Tuesday–Saturday schedule with some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching gymnasts and working with youth of varying ages and skill levels.
• Proven ability to supervise, coach, or develop staff.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with youth, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Marblehead YMCA gymnastics program growth and quality.
• Coach and develop gymnasts, focusing on confidence, strength, and skill progression.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise gymnastics staff.
• Maintain regular communication with families and create a welcoming, engaged community.
• Support gymnastics summer camp and special programs and events.
