Job summary

The Ocean Community YMCA in Westerly, RI seeks a Gymnastics Coordinator to lead and grow recreational and competitive gymnastics programs. This role blends hands-on coaching with program leadership, staff development, safety, and family engagement in a positive environment for youth to build skills and confidence.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years of gymnastics experience.
• Gymnastics safety certification required within 6 months of employment.
• CPR, AED, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen certifications required.

The Ocean Community YMCA is looking for an energetic and experienced Gymnastics Coordinator to lead and grow our recreational and competitive gymnastics programs. This position blends hands-on coaching with program leadership, staff development, safety, and family engagement—all while creating a positive environment where kids can build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of gymnastics.

Location:Westerly-Pawcatuck YMCA, Westerly, RI

Classification:Full-Time, exempt

Salary Range:$45,000-$50,000 per year

What You’ll Do

• Ability to create a positive, safe, and engaging environment for athletes, staff, and families
