Enjoy sports, connecting with people, and keeping activities running smoothly? The Summit Area YMCA is seeking a dependable, approachable Gym Supervisor to help create a safe, welcoming, and organized gym environment at our Summit and Berkeley Heights branches.
In this hands‑on role, you’ll oversee gym activities, assist members, set up sports equipment, and help ensure everyone follows gym rules and demonstrates good sportsmanship. You’ll help members of all ages enjoy the gym while modeling the Y’s values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Part‑time shifts are available at both branches, with the opportunity to work up to 15 hours per week, depending on availability and scheduling needs.
Summit: Sun. 11am–3pm; Mon. 2:30–5pm; Wed. 6–9:30pm; Fri. 2:30–6pm; Sat. 11am–1pm.
Berkeley Heights: Mon. 2:45–4pm; Tues. 2–4pm; Wed. 2–6pm; Fri. 2–5:30pm; Sat. 7:45–10am and 10:15am–2:30pm.
The pay range for this position is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience.
