Job summary

Excel Fitness in Rocky Mount, NC seeks a part-time Sub Team Player to assist during club hours. You will support daily operations, greet members, assist with equipment, and help maintain a clean and safe club environment.

Responsibilities include submitting availability forms, balancing cash drawers, updating member data at the POS, enforcing company policies, and collaborating with management to promote memberships.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR Certification and AED Certification required before working alone; up to 30 days for training if uncertified.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Great communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.
• Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and using a computer.
• Familiar with Excel's mission, values, and culture, and with Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Submit Sub Availability Form before hire and update at least seven (7) days in advance if availability changes.
• Maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere; reply within 24 hours to accepted/denied shift offers.
• Assist members and operate equipment and amenities while ensuring safety and adherence to procedures.
• Audit cash drawers daily and input/update member information into tablets/POS.
• Support GM/AM with membership promotions, training, and operational initiatives.
• Ensure club complies with state/federal laws and insurance requirements.
