Job summary

Gold's Gym is seeking a Maintenance professional to upkeep gym facilities and perform preventative care on all fitness equipment. Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and lighting maintenance across the facility.

The role requires proactive problem solving, the ability to work after hours, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Strong knowledge of tools and repaired equipment is essential for keeping the gym safe and functional.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Fitness equipment certification or experience preferred.
• After hours and weekend work as needed to complete projects or handle emergencies.
• Routinely lift, pull, push, and bend while lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Basic skills with hand and some power tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, drywall).
• Maintain, repair, and perform preventative maintenance for all gym equipment.
• Maintain pool, spa, and saunas where applicable.
• Inspect and replace lighting fixtures and ballasts as needed.
