Job summary

Gold's Gym - High Note, LLC is hiring a Maintenance technician responsible for upkeep of gym facilities and servicing fitness equipment. You will perform building repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure safe, clean, and fully functioning spaces.

The role requires after-hours and weekend availability for project work or emergencies. Candidates should have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, basic hand and power tools skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Fitness equipment certification or experience preferred.
• After hours and weekend work as needed to complete projects or handle emergencies.
• Routinely lift, pull, push, and bend while lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Basic skills with hand and some power tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance repairs, i.e., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general carpentry, painting, drywall repair, locks, and preventative maintenance work
• Maintain, repair, and perform preventative maintenance tasks for all fitness equipment in gym
• Maintain pool, spa, wet & dry sauna (if applicable)
• Perform basic maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
• Perform carpentry repair duties
• Inspect heating and air conditioning equipment, sprinkler systems, and fire protection devices to ensure proper operation
• Replace overhead lamps in both incandescent and fluorescent overhead lighting fixtures and replace lighting ballasts as necessary
