Job summary
UFC GYM is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the fitness club and equipment operate at peak performance. You will perform safety walk-throughs, manage preventative maintenance, and maintain equipment history while coordinating with management on upgrades and repairs.
The role requires HVAC and/or electrical knowledge, strong mechanical aptitude, and prior gym/health club maintenance experience. A high school diploma or GED is required, and CPR/AED certification is preferred during
Qualifications
- General knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical systems with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience in building maintenance or equipment repair.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Punctual, reliable with scheduled checklists.
Responsibilities
- Safety walk-throughs of the facility and immediate hazard resolution.
- Preventative maintenance logs and monthly OSHA safety checks.
- Maintain history files for all equipment to track longevity and repairs.
- Procure repair parts and tools within budget guidelines.
- Execute facility projects and upgrades as directed by management.
