Job summary

UFC GYM is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee club upkeep and maintenance of all areas. You will perform daily safety walk-throughs, maintain maintenance logs, and coordinate repairs with Operations leadership to ensure a safe, functional facility.

The role requires 2+ years in gym/health club maintenance, ability to lift 75 lbs, and familiarity with HVAC and electrical systems. CPO certification is required. This position is based in our club facilities.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
• Must be highly organized and able to handle a multi-task environment.
• Must have professionalism, honesty, integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of safety, liability issues and injury prevention.
• Proficient in basic computer use (email).
• Experience in repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintains day-to-day maintenance of the club and equipment.
• Performs monthly fire extinguisher checks.
• Conducts daily safety walk-throughs of the facility and logs findings.
• Maintains Preventative Maintenance logs and follows PM specifications.
• Procures repair parts, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains history files on all equipment.
