Job summary

Planet Fitness-Core Development & Management is hiring a Facilities Technician to perform day-to-day service and maintenance on gym cardio and strength equipment at North Shore/Greater Boston locations. You will handle club-wide maintenance, document work and manage a ticketing system to deliver an excellent member experience.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in mechanical/electrical service, a clean driving record, and proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of mechanical and electrical service experience.
• Experience in a fitness club setting is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Competent with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Reliable, independent worker who communicates well.

Responsibilities

• Repair cardio and strength equipment and obtain sign-off from club staff.
• Report progress and obstacles to the Facilities Manager daily.
• Maintain KPI performance and complete helpdesk tickets for clubs.
• Perform preventive maintenance walks and document findings.
• Update and manage work schedules in Outlook.
• Assist with construction, re-equip installations, and warranty work as needed.
• Keep company vehicle inventory and cleanliness up to standard.
