Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to service clubs in the greater Raleigh, NC area. You will install, maintain, and repair fitness equipment and uphold building systems while following safety rules.

Ideal candidates have basic electrical/plumbing knowledge, tool proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. On-call availability, night/weekend shifts, and a valid driver’s license with local travel are required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge about electrical and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency with tools and common appliances.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair fitness equipment following safety rules.
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing.
• Inspect alarm systems and ensure safety compliance.
• Coordinate with external vendors for preventive maintenance.
• on-call for maintenance emergencies, including nights and weekends.
• Local travel with company-provided vehicle; travel time reimbursed.
