Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Process Automation Engineer to support GxP manufacturing systems at our Norwood site, including DeltaV, Rockwell, Aveva, and Syncade. You will ensure compliant operation of automation assets across 24/7 shifts, helping deliver reliable processes for mRNA therapies.

You will troubleshoot complex automation issues, maintain validated systems, and collaborate with QA, IT, and operations to drive continuous improvement while upholding regulatory standards and safe, efficient

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technology field.
• 2–3 years of experience with process automation systems.
• Clear communication skills to convey complex information to stakeholders.
• Ability to work 24/7 shifts; on-site role at Moderna site in US.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting complex issues within GxP Process Automation Systems (DeltaV, Allen-Bradley PLCs).
• Maintaining and sustaining a culture of compliance in design, operation, and maintenance.
