Qualifications

• 10+ years in process engineering or manufacturing engineering (biopharma)
• Experience in a GxP biopharmaceutical operations environment preferred
• Deep technical expertise in design, selection, integration, and lifecycle management of bioprocess equipment
• Proven track record leading evaluation and implementation of innovative manufacturing technologies
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; ability to influence cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Serve as global technical leader within GETA, providing technical direction and lifecycle support for GMP drug substance manufacturing equipment
• Lead cross-functional teams of subject matter experts in drug substance manufacturing projects
• Provide technical guidance and work-prioritization across engineering teams as a senior individual contributor
• Oversee capital project lifecycle from conceptual design to qualification
• Ensure equipment solutions meet global standards, requirements, quality, and regulatory expectations
• Act as Engineering Owner for assigned process equipment and lifecycle improvement
• Drive technology evaluation and implementation to improve efficiency, reliability, scalability
• Collaborate with Facilities, Manufacturing, Process Development and Research on new technologies
• Mentor technical talent and influence cross-functional decisions
• Support integration of Generative AI and digital capabilities for knowledge management and decision making
