Job summary

3S Industry is seeking a dependable Service Technician to join the wind service team. This field-based role involves up-tower inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of wind turbines across the U.S., with extensive travel and hands-on work.

Responsibilities include scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of turbines and support systems, along with documenting work and adhering to safety standards. Climb towers up to 280 feet and travel nationwide as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and climb towers up to 280 ft.
• Experience with field maintenance and use of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on wind turbines and support systems.
• Climb wind towers (up to 280 feet) to conduct mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic inspections.
• Diagnose technical issues and replace or repair faulty components in the field.
• Maintain detailed service records and complete required documentation.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, including fall protection, lockout/tagout, and PPE protocols.
• Travel to wind farms and customer sites across the U.S. (up to 80% domestic travel).
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe, working condition.
