Job summary

Green Energy Technical Services Group is seeking a Traveling WTG Mechanic/Technician to perform complex assembly, service, repair, inspection, and operations on wind turbine generators and related equipment. The role requires travel to job sites and climbing up to 300 feet.

Candidates should have at least 36 months wind turbine specific technical and mechanical experience or equivalent, and be able to work under minimal supervision while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and retrofit of complex mechanical or electrical components.
• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Work independently or in a team to meet customer and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily complex assembly, service, repair, inspection and operations of wind turbine generators and related equipment.
• Climb up to 300 feet to access turbines and equipment.
• Communicate with team and supervisor; participate in cross-training and problem solving.
