Job summary

Tacheny Exteriors in Saint Paul, MN seeks established gutter installation teams as independent contractors for residential exterior projects. You will bring your own tools, equipment, and insurance to perform gutter and heat tape work under signed contracts with multiple clients.

Qualified crews operate as autonomous businesses, hold proper licenses, and manage liability insurance and workers’ compensation as required by Minnesota law. This role is paid per contract, per project or per bid.

Qualifications

• Independent contractor with own business entity and 1099 setup.
• Owns or has access to tools, equipment, and a vehicle for the work.
• Holds required business licenses, registrations, and contractor certifications.
• Maintains workers' compensation insurance (or qualifies for exemption) and general liability insurance.
• Has a federal EIN and is set up to receive 1099 income.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair gutters, downspouts, and related components on residential remodeling projects.
• Install roof and gutter heat tape/de-icing cable systems per manufacturer specifications.
• Coordinate scheduling and job-site logistics with the Tacheny project team.
• Maintain a clean, safe work site and communicate proactively on project status.
• Complete work per the signed contract/proposal, on a per-job or bid basis.
