Job summary
Tacheny Exteriors in St. Paul, MN is seeking established gutter installation businesses to partner as subcontractors for residential exterior remodeling projects. You will handle gutter and heat tape installation on multiple client projects as an independent operator.
Operate your own tools and insurance; you will invoice under your business name and bear project costs and profits. This is a true subcontractor relationship, not employment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of gutter installation or exterior remodeling experience.
- Experience installing heat tape/de-icing cable systems.
- Own tools and transportation; valid driver's license.
- Reliable independent business with required insurance and licenses.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair gutters, downspouts, and related components on residential remodeling projects per approved plans and manufacturer specifications.
- Install roof and gutter heat tape/de-icing cable systems per manufacturer specifications.
- Coordinate scheduling and job-site logistics with the Tacheny project team.
- Maintain a clean, safe work site.
- Communicate proactively on project status, delays, or issues.
- Complete work per the signed contract/proposal for each job, on a per-job or bid basis.
