Job summary

PWG Range is seeking a qualified Gunsmith with verified experience to join our team in Poway, CA. The role requires 2+ years as Gunsmith or 5+ years as Armorer; a certification from firearm manufacturers is preferred. Salary ranges from $45,000 to $60,000 with heavy commission and bonus potential based on experience.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive computer entry. This is a full-time position with no on-the-job training.

PWG Range is looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our team as our Gunsmith. A strong candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a gunsmith or 5+ years of experience as an Armorer.

This job requires verifiable job experience as a firearms gunsmith or armorer. This is not an on-the-job training position. Please do not apply if you do not have the experience required.

Compensation: This position has an annual salary + heavy commission package with a base range of $45,000 – $60,000 (before commissions or bonus) based on qualifications and experience.There is no earnings limit for this position.

About PWG Range: Our indoor range is one of the country’s premier indoor shooting ranges and the 1st largest indoor range on the West Coast. At 36,000+ square feet, 42 lanes, and 3 separate ranges – 25, 50, & 100 Yards- PWG Range is one of the largest indoor gun ranges in the nation. We currently serve over 4,000 members as well as over 100,000 customers a year. PWG Range’s gunsmith department works on over 3,500 firearms a year.

Experience/Education

High school diploma required or GED

Must be knowledgeable in firearms and accessories.

Obtained or willing to obtain an Armoring Certification from firearm Manufacturers.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Repetitive motion required including computer entry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year based on experience.
