Solution One Industries is seeking a Gunsmith II to join our client site at Fort Stewart, GA. The candidate will perform detailed assembly and disassembly of small arms, inspect, maintain, and repair weapons, and assist with shop operations and inventory control.

The position requires U.S. citizenship, ability to pass background checks, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for delivering best-in-class service.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of small arms and crew-served weapons maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in the use of gunsmith tools, including hammers, punches, files, stones, and gauges.
• Limited knowledge of operating gunsmithing machinery (e.g., lathes, milling machines, surface grinders) and related tooling.
• Understanding of basic shop safety procedures and ability to work safely in a small arms environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions for assembly and maintenance.
• Basic administrative skills to support shop operations, including managing records and reports.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to pass background investigation and post offer drug screen.
• A minimum of two (4) years of experience and knowledge of small arms and crew served weapons
• Fundamental Maintenance and Troubleshooting Skillset.
• Perform assembly and disassembly of foreign and domestic small arms weapons including small arms inspection, maintenance, and repairs.
• Possess and maintain the appropriate clearance level
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
