Job summary

Somafina, a growing co-manufacturer of vitamins and supplements in Utah, is seeking a Gummy Lead to oversee daily gummy production operations and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. The role leads and trains the gummy production team, coordinating workflow and maintaining strict GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing, confectionery, or gummy production preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises the gummy production team during assigned shifts.
• Ensures processes follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Monitors batching, cooking, depositing, drying, sanding/coating, and packaging processes.
• Verifies accurate measurements, formulations, and ingredient usage.
• Conducts quality checks to ensure gummies meet texture, flavor, and appearance standards.
• Trains new team members and provides ongoing coaching.
• Coordinates with QA, Maintenance, and management teams.
