Job summary

Mente Aviation is hiring an experienced Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for one of our clients based in Birmingham, AL to operate a Gulfstream G650 under Part 91/135. The PIC reports to the Chief Pilot and bears final authority for flight safety and operations.

Candidates must hold an FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, a current First Class Medical, and a G650 type rating; 3,500 total hours with 1,500 hours PIC in turbine operations are preferred. Relocation to the Birmingham area is required.

Qualifications

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with the appropriate category and class.
• G650 aircraft type rating strongly preferred.
• Current First Class Medical.
• 3500 hours total time.
• 1500 hours PIC turbine.
• Strong CRM Skills.

Responsibilities

• Final authority to operate the assigned aircraft.
• Authority to delay, cancel or discontinue a flight when conditions are unsuitable for flight, as determined by PIC.
• Authority to indicate changes in planned flight for safer operation.
• Ensure flight is conducted in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Plan and conduct flight considering weather, routing, airports, traffic, and aircraft performance.
• Complete all trip paperwork accurately and on time.
