Job summary

Solairus Aviation in San Jose, CA is seeking a Full-Time Client Aviation Manager (CAM) to lead a flight department on the West Coast.

The CAM will supervise personnel, coordinate training and scheduling with clients, and ensure adherence to Solairus and FAA policies, while promoting service, safety, and integrity.

Applicants should have extensive flight time, PIC and MEL experience, and a leadership background with training capabilities; NBAA CAM certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Total flight time is 3000 hours.
• PIC time is 1500 hours.
• MEL time is 1500 hours.
• MEL PIC time is 500 hours.
• Turbo Jet time is 500 hours.
• Instrument time is 250 hours.
• Experience in leadership and training of flight operations personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned personnel to ensure compliance with Solairus, FAA and other regulations.
• Monitors appearance, dress code, and conduct to uphold high standards.
• Maintains current read and file of all Solairus memorandums.
• Coordinates training for crew and maintenance personnel with training contractor.
• Coordinates maintenance test, training and other flights.
• Develops scheduling procedures with clients for reliable scheduling.
• Approves PTO and communicates schedule changes to flight coordinator.
• Keeps flight operations informed with timely reports.
• Promotes customer goodwill and company image.
• Participates in Safety Management System implementation.
