Job summary

Jet Aviation Staffing seeks an experienced captain to perform as PIC/SIC in a worldwide flight department, prioritizing safety and passenger service. The role requires extensive flight hours, multi-engine credentials, and type ratings where possible.

The candidate will operate private aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, plan routes, manage fuel and contingencies, and ensure accurate logbook entries while contributing to SMS initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent educational hours; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Commercial Multi-Engine Land Certificate, Instrument Airplane (ATP or ATP-CTP Course Completion Preferred).
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certification.
• Type Rating Highly Preferred.
• Minimum 3000 hours total flight time completed/logged (TT).
• Minimum 1000 hours multiengine airplane flight time completed/logged (TT) jet or turboprop.

Responsibilities

• Safely and proficiently operate private company aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations and company SOPs.
• Plan flights with safe routes, contingencies, fuel loads, and weather considerations.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections and weight/balance calculations.
• Complete records in aircraft logbooks/operations forms and maintain SMS culture.
• Collaborate to resolve issues and communicate with management on workload and priorities.
