Job summary

Jet Aviation Staffing seeks a G500 Captain in Houston, TX, onsite, to serve as PIC/SIC in our global flight department with emphasis on safety and passenger service.

Candidate must meet FAA requirements, possess 3,000+ hours total time and 1,000+ hours multi-engine, with 4+ years of flight experience and a valid First Class Medical; type rating preferred. Expect frequent travel, long hours, and adherence to SOPs and FAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent educational hours; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Commercial Multi-Engine Land Certificate and FAA Medical.
• Total flight time at least 3000 hours; multiengine at least 1000 hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate private aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations and SOPs.
• Plan flights with safe routes, fuel planning, contingencies; review NOTAMS and weather.
• Perform pre- and post-flight inspections; calculate weight and balance.
• Collaborate in an agile environment; develop SOPs and assist in issue resolution.
• Travel frequently with overnight layovers and adapt to long work hours.
