Job summary

Jet Aviation Staffing is seeking a Captain for Gulfstream 280 in Houston, TX. The role focuses on PIC/SIC responsibilities, safety, and passenger service in a global flight department.

Responsibilities include flight planning, NOTAM interpretation, weight and balance, and strict adherence to FAA regulations and company SOPs for long‑range trips. Strong aviation experience and current certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 4 years of commercial or private flight experience with EFIS and FMS cockpit systems.
• Minimum 3,000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 1,000 hours multiengine jet or turboprop time.
• Commercial Multi-Engine Land Certificate and Instrument rating preferred.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certification.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate private aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations and SOPs.
• Plan flights, routes, fuel loads, contingencies and NOTAM review.
• Perform preflight and postflight inspections and weight/balance checks.
• Maintain logs and adherence to aircraft records and SMS culture.
• Develop SOPs and participate in continuous improvement.
