Job summary

Ochsner Health in Louisiana is seeking a Security Manager to oversee daily operations of the Security Department, including staffing, post assignments, budgeting, and incident investigations. You will lead shift supervision and coordinate emergency preparedness for assigned location(s).

The role requires a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice or related field, 7 years of related experience with 5 years in supervision, and a valid Louisiana driver’s license. Ambulatory care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
• 7 years of related experience including 5 years of supervision or management experience.
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Commands all security shifts including supervision of Lieutenants, Sergeants, Officers and contracted services.
• Coordinates training exercises, drills and preparedness training in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintains current and effective EOC Management Plans for Security, Emergency Preparedness, and evaluate the plans on a yearly basis.
• Conducts interviewing, hiring, performance review and corrective action of employees.
• Develops and implements improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Security leadership.
• Assist with management of the Emergency Preparedness function.
