Job summary

Precision Pump and Valve (PPV) / Filter Resources, an MCE Company, seeks an Outside Sales Representative to grow our process valve, filtration, and control offerings in Lake Charles, LA.

You will drive new business, nurture client relationships, and coordinate with manufacturers to deliver value. The role rewards entrepreneurial drive and results with a competitive base and commission structure.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of sales and account management experience with a proven track record of hitting targets.
• Technical background in relief valves, control valves, isolation valves, and/or process instrumentation.
• Process industry experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, refining, chemical processing, or related fields.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with self-motivation and accountability.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Sound judgment and confidentiality in customer and business dealings.
• Well organized with ability to prioritize, multitask, and work flexible hours.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
• Ability to travel within the territory, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Grow the Territory by attracting new customers and developing sales opportunities.
• Respond to and develop incoming leads professionally and timely.
• Establish and maintain industry contacts to generate new sales opportunities.
• Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions to build pipeline.
• Develop strategies based on feedback from customers and market conditions.
• Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers and ensure service quality.
• Record all account and sales activities in CRM daily and meet monthly/quarterly goals.
• Travel within the territory as required, including occasional overnight stays.
