Job summary

Orion Marine Group is seeking an experienced Pile Driver local to Southern Louisiana to support field construction on marine and heavy civil projects across the region. The role involves installing and extracting piling for docks, wharves, ports, and marine terminals with a team of skilled craftsmen.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and integrity as core values while contributing to critical waterfront infrastructure along the Gulf Coast.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years crane rigging and/or piledriving experience.
• Ability to read blueprints or site plans for piling work.
• Knowledge of general construction rigging including slings and chokers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading and assembling crane and piling equipment.
• Unload piling materials including concrete pipe, H-piling, timber and steel sheet piling.
• Operate and maintain piledriving hammer equipment as directed.
• Lay out piling locations from blueprints and site plans for driving operations.
• Support installation of booms, hoisting cables, and rigging for crane operations.
• Follow safety procedures and work with crew to complete projects efficiently.
