Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Air Quality Engineer to join our Integrated Sustainability and Compliance team in Texas, with a hybrid schedule between office, remote work and client sites. You will lead Gulf Coast air quality projects, including permitting, compliance, emissions reporting, and regulatory strategy development.

The successful candidate will have 15+ years in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, PE in Texas and/or Louisiana, and Gulf Coast air quality experience.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in chemical or environmental engineering is expected.
• PE registration in Texas and/or Louisiana is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply Federal and State air quality regulations to permitting and compliance projects.
• Lead Gulf Coast air quality projects and support client and proposal development.
• Lead air permitting projects (Permits-by-Rule, minor NSR, FESOP, Title V, PSD, NNSR Avoidance).
• Collaborate with Arcadis' air team and mentor junior staff to ensure regulatory knowledge is applied.
• Perform environmental compliance audits with focus on air quality and EPCRA.
• Manage project teams to deliver on time and on budget.
• Work with ISC to provide multi-disciplinary EHS solutions to key clients.
