Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Principal Air Quality Engineer to join our Integrated Sustainability and Compliance team in Texas (Austin, Dallas, or Houston). This hybrid role blends office work, remote work, and client site visits, focusing on air permitting, compliance, and strategy development for Gulf Coast clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering; or related engineering field.
• PE registration in Texas and/or Louisiana.
• Gulf Coast Chemical and Oil & Gas air quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Gulf Coast air quality projects including air permitting and compliance.
• Develop regulatory applicability and strategy for clients.
• Create emissions inventories and reporting.
• Ensure compliance in engine, ozone-depleting substances, and GHG reporting.
• Support sales, client meetings, proposals, and project delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and grow Air Quality Services.
