Job summary

Poutrix is seeking a Project Air Quality Engineer to join the Integrated Sustainability and Compliance team in Texas. This hybrid position involves working from an Arcadis office, remote, and client site visits. You will provide technical expertise on Gulf Coast air quality projects, including regulatory compliance and emissions reporting.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in oil and gas emissions, minimum 7 years of relevant experience, and a degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in air quality, specifically in oil and gas emission calculations.
  • Strong background in permitting and compliance for air quality projects.
  • Master’s degree and EIT or PE registration in Texas and/or Louisiana preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of air-quality regulations to permitting projects.
  • Assist clients with air-quality compliance reporting.
  • Prepare various air permit applications.
  • Collaborate with air team leaders for effective project delivery.
  • Perform emissions calculations for reporting.
  • Support client and proposal development activities.
  • Participate in environmental compliance projects.
