Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a senior Guidewire Architect to design and implement scalable rating solutions for multiple insurance lines. You will configure Rate Books and Tables, develop Gosu-based rating algorithms, and craft robust integrations with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and external pricing engines.

You will collaborate with product owners, underwriters, and analysts to translate pricing requirements into technical designs, while leading code reviews and ensuring best practices across

Qualifications

  • 10+ years IT experience with strong P&C Insurance domain expertise.
  • 5+ years Guidewire implementation experience.
  • 3+ years designing Guidewire Rating solutions.
  • Expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, Rating Management, Product Model, Integration Framework, and Data Model.
  • Strong Gosu, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, SQL, and Guidewire integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead Guidewire Rating solutions across multiple insurance products and lines of business.
  • Configure and implement Rate Books, Rate Tables, Rate Routines, Worksheets, Rating Variables, and Product Model integrations.
  • Develop complex rating algorithms using Gosu and Guidewire configuration tools.
  • Design integrations with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, external pricing engines, and third-party data providers.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Underwriters, Actuarial Teams, and Business Analysts to translate pricing requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide architectural leadership, conduct design/code reviews, and establish best practices.
  • Optimize rating performance, scalability, and system reliability.
  • Support testing, deployment, compliance, and architecture documentation.
