Job summary

Capgemini in Chicago seeks a Senior Insurance Systems Analyst to gather and document business requirements for Commercial Lines, collaborating with stakeholders, underwriters, product owners, and development teams.

You will translate requirements into BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and support Guidewire PolicyCenter, analyze rating structures, and participate in SIT/UAT within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and Commercial Lines insurance products.
• Experience translating business needs into BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and use cases.
• Knowledge of rating frameworks, forms, policy coverage and document handling.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, analyzes, and documents business requirements for Commercial Lines products.
• Collaborates with stakeholders, underwriters, product owners, and developers to define functional requirements.
• Translates requirements into BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Supports Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations, enhancements, and rating solutions.
• Analyzes rating requirements including premium calculations, rate books, modifiers, discounts, and surcharges.
• Participates in product modeling (coverages, forms, jurisdictions, rating structures).
• Supports SIT, UAT, production validation, and defect analysis.
• Works in Agile/Scrum environments with QA and development teams.
