Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant for Residence Inn Houston/The Woodlands in The Woodlands, TX. You will maintain clean guestrooms and provide attentive, courteous service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, restocking carts, reporting issues, and upholding cleanliness standards to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort during every stay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, hotel or related field experience preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently to move objects.
• Ability to stand during the entire shift, with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
