Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a friendly host/hostess to greet guests, seat them per plan, and help maintain smooth dining room flow. The role supports servers and contributes to a welcoming, efficient dining experience for all guests.

The position requires a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to stand for long periods, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests as they enter and depart the restaurant and hold the door open for guests.
• Seat guests according to the established plan and guests’ needs.
• Keep host/hostess stand and waiting area clean.
• Ensure menus remain clean and stocked.
• Complete restroom checks and refill paper products in bathrooms, as needed.
• Sanitize and wipe down all tables and sweep the area as needed and reset the table.
• Assist servers by taking initial drink orders or running food when needed.
• Complete daily opening and closing duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
