Job summary

DPS offers competitive substitute pay: $23.861/hour or $190.888 full day for 1-3 year authorization, and $29.827/hour or $238.616 full day for 5 year license, plus PERA retirement and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be completing Student Teaching in Denver Public Schools (DPS).
• 1 year or 3 year Substitute Authorization or Initial/Professional 5 year Substitute License

Responsibilities

• Organize students for effective instruction and learning while maintaining classroom control.
• Motivate student learning and academic participation while ensuring academic time.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school Principal.
