Sonesta International Hotels in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Van Driver to operate our hotel shuttle, transporting guests safely and courteously.

Responsibilities include assisting guests with luggage, maintaining vehicles, and promoting hotel services while complying with laws and safety standards. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of previous hotel experience, or retail customer service preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Frequently standing up, bending, and lifting up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on the promise of Sonesta Service in all interactions with guests according to the Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Respond to guest requests for shuttle service promptly; assist guests with luggage when boarding and off-loading.
• Operate vehicle in accordance with state laws; observe airport rules pertaining to shuttle vehicles.
• Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets and services to guests; provide local attractions information.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections; maintain vehicle cleanliness and logs.
• Assist in housekeeping or laundry duties as needed; promote teamwork with shifts.
