The Press Hotel in Portland, Maine, newly owned and managed by EOS Hospitality, is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join their team of hospitality professionals at the Front Desk.

You will provide telephone services, greet guests, check in/out, handle payments, coordinate with departments, and maintain the lobby to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role offers benefits and growth opportunities within EOS Hospitality.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years direct customer service experience, hotel/lodging environment preferred.
• Proficient with computers and learning technical systems.
• Strong understanding of lodging operations; reservations, guest service etiquette, etc.
• Successful completion of satisfactory background check.
• Demonstrates natural leadership qualities with a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Available and willing to work flexible hours including weekdays and weekends.
• Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide telephone services for guests, vendors, and inquiries and direct calls appropriately.
• Greet guests professionally and assist with inquiries and requests.
• Check in guests, issue room keys, verify ID and payment methods.
• Manage guest accounts, post charges, and prepare final folios at checkout.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and reservations teams to fulfill guest needs.
• Maintain front desk area, signage, and lobby; assist with event setup and execution.
• Assist in training new staff as requested.
