Pilot Company in Ohio is hiring a Retail Cashier/Travel Center Clerk to lead a shift of one to two cashiers and process all types of transactions. You will close out end-of-shift reports and ensure compliance with policy.

You’ll maintain a clean, organized workspace, promote products, provide friendly guest service, handle complaints, and support additional center tasks. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Lead a shift of one to two cashiers.
• Process cash, credit and debit transactions.
• Follow guidelines for sale of restricted items (alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Provide quality guest service and handle guest concerns.
• Assist with additional travel center tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures.
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of restricted merchandise items.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products.
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest.
• Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines.
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift.
• Assist with other travel center functions and tasks as needed.
• Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose and culture.
