Job summary

Pilot Company is hiring at our Cartersville travel center to process merchandise and fuel transactions and lead a small cashier team. You’ll ensure accurate cash handling, deliver friendly guest service, and help keep the store clean and welcoming.

As a shift leader, you will oversee end-of-shift reports, break schedules, and compliance with company policies while promoting products and maintaining operational standards to support guests and team members across a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small cashier team.
• Ability to process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Must follow company policies for restricted items.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process transactions.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Promote and sell products using suggested methods.
• Ensure quality service to every guest.
• Handle guest complaints per policy and resolve conflicts.
• Determine break schedules and team placement.
• Assist with other travel center functions (deli, showers, restrooms, stocking, coffee).
• Model behaviors aligned with company purpose and support guests and team.
• Ensure compliance with rules, policies and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
