Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a motivated shift lead to supervise one-to-two cashiers at our Avon, OH travel center. This role handles all cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring guests receive quality service in a fast-paced environment.

You will complete end-of-shift reports, follow guidelines for restricted merchandise, manage break schedules, and assist with deli, restrooms, stocking, and other center functions as needed. Weekly pay and benefits apply.

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures.
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of restricted merchandise items (i.e., alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products.
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest.
• Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines; resolve team member conflict; and communicate issues to management.
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift.
• Assist with other travel center functions such as maintaining deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking, making coffee, etc.
• Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned
