Coalition For The Homeless of Central Florida, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Guest Services team to lead frontline staff and ensure a welcoming, secure environment on campus.

You will supervise receptionists and Guest Service Professionals, coordinate coverage, and model professional conduct in line with agency values. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills, with the ability to de-escalate crises, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Leadership experience required.
• Understanding of the homeless population preferred.
• Flexible hours based on agency needs.
• Bi-lingual candidates and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively, including talking and hearing.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and other office equipment.

Mansioni

• Provide leadership to the campus in the absence of management and senior leadership.
• Provide direct supervision of Guest Services Professionals and Receptionist staff and notify immediately of any performance issues to Guest Services Manager.
• Monitor and document performance concerns and provide feedback.
• Assist with performance reviews.
• Provide breaks and coverage as needed.
• Coordinate and assist with dorm inspections and organization.
• Oversee inventory of guest supplies and linens.
• Oversee staff in absence of direct supervisors.
• Notify about supply needs to supervisors.
• Ensure guests are screened properly by security.
• Oversee weekly dorm inspections with Housing Specialists.
• Review incident reports and train staff accordingly.
• Provide mediation in staff or guest disputes.
• De-escalate crisis situations.
• Ensure security SOPs are followed in leadership absence.
• Ensure HCNP meal components and counts are met during meals.
• Provide ongoing training and coaching for direct reports.
• Collect meal serve census data.
