The Children’s Village in New York, NY seeks a Front Desk Security staff member for Drew Hamilton Community Center. This full-time clerical role greets visitors, answers calls, and manages sign-in and building access.

You will monitor the reception area, support safety initiatives, and assist with emergency procedures. Required: HS/GED and NYS Security Guard license; Fire Guard license preferred; customer-service experience, and experience with youth settings.

Qualificações

• HS/GED, required; NYS Security Guard License or Certificate, highly preferred.
• Experience in customer service is required or highly desirable.
• Experience working with youth in a school or community setting is advantageous.
• Fire Guard License, required. Food handler’s certificate preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist visitors, answer and direct telephone calls.
• Provide general information and enforce sign-in and building access procedures.
• Monitor the reception area and report safety concerns or incidents to leadership.
• Assist with emergency procedures when necessary and support safety initiatives.
