The Children’s Village, Inc. is seeking a Front Desk/Security staff member for the Drew Hamilton Community Center in New York, NY. This role involves greeting visitors, handling calls, and managing sign-in and access to keep the facility safe and welcoming.

Full-time clerical position requiring NYS Security Guard License or Certificate and Fire Guard certification; experience in customer service and with youth in community settings is highly valued. A Food handler’s certificate is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS/GED is required.
• NYS Security Guard License or Certificate is required.
• Fire Guard License is required.
• Food handler’s certificate preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Experience working with youth in a school or community setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct them appropriately.
• Answer and route telephone calls and provide information.
• Monitor sign-in and building access procedures.
• Maintain a safe and secure front desk area.
• Communicate safety concerns and assist with emergency procedures.
