Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a dedicated Security professional to greet and register guests and residents while maintaining property safety. You will operate electronic security systems, log daily records, and respond to emergencies in a timely manner.

This role reports to the Security Supervisor and supports front desk operations. The position requires a high school diploma and Florida Security License D, with 2–3 years of related experience and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid Florida Security License D.
• 2–3 years of business experience in a similar position preferred.
• Strong customer service background.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Bilingual Spanish/English desirable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Monitors and operates Electronic Security Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
• Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Monitors and controls access to the building.
• Accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Reads and understands the employee handbook and SOPs.
• Attends Security/Front Desk staff meetings.
• May be assigned other duties by on-site Community Association Manager.
